About the Event

We need healing now, more than ever. For the past three weeks we worked really hard on putting an event together to continue to connect and heal our community, give us a safe space and feeling of belonging. June 12th, also called Loving Day marks the day the Supreme Court of America ruled to disband all anti-miscegenation laws in 1967 (laws that made mixed-race marriages illegal). Love is  why all of us are here. Our parents chose love over hate and we are proof that love will always win.

We got 3 hours of healing, a dance and fitness class, live acoustic performance, spoken word and a chance to make friends with fellow mixed sisters and brothers you would usually only meet if you got on a long flight!!

We will virtually be travelling to 8 different countries and hear from mixed sisters and brothers how being mixed looks in their part of the world.
